Prior to joining IceCap Group, Ezra was the Head of Private Equity at Safra Asset Management and later the Chief Investment Officer at Brooklyn based Duke Properties. At Duke, he led the acquisition of over 40 properties and developed a keen understanding of the New York City market. At IceCap, Ezra runs the Originations, Underwriting, and Closing teams. Ezra graduated with honors from the Wharton School of Business and Finance at the University of Pennsylvania, with a dual concentration in finance and entrepreneurial management. While there, Ezra was a member of the University’s Ben Franklin Scholars program.

Felix is the Chief Financial Officer with over 27 years of real estate experience in lending, risk management, asset management and capital markets.  Most recently Felix was co-founder & COO of Streamline Realty Funding, an origination service company that sources and underwrites commercial bridge loans throughout the United States.  Prior to Streamline, Felix spent 15 years at Deutsche Bank where he held various roles in CRE. He was the COO of Deutsche Banc Mortgage Capital, and Co-Headed CRE Global Risk Management. Additionally, Felix was the Business Area Controller in DB’s Real Estate Private Equity Group. Mr. Rivera received a B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and has a M.S. in Real Estate Finance from New York University.

David is the Chief Credit Officer with over 20 years of experience in real estate credit, lending, securitization, and trading.  David was most recently the Head of Credit at Toorak Capital Partners, a leading real estate private debt investor backed by KKR.  Prior to Toorak, David was a Principal at Prudential Mortgage Capital Company where he led the Capital Markets pricing team.  Previous to Prudential, David spent six years as Co-Head of CMBS/CRE CDO trading at both Sterne Agee Inc and StormHarbour Securities.  David has also held the role of Senior Director in the Capital Market group at Hypo Real Estate Holding as well as Pricing and Hedging Manager at GE Real Estate.  David graduated with High Honors in Economics from Brandeis University and has an MBA from Stern School of Business.

With over 20 years of commercial real estate experience, primarily focused on mortgage debt and capital markets, Stephen adds significant institutional relationships and knowledge to the platform. Stephen has held senior roles at leading global investment banks, including Deutsche Bank, RBC, Macquarie, and Jefferies, focused on commercial real estate lending, securitization, and trading. Stephen has transacted in risk across the capital structure including senior loans, mezzanine loans, and both performing and distressed commercial real estate securities. Stephen graduated from Hobart College with a degree in economics.

Andrea is the Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Fund Management & Investor Relations. With over 13 years of experience in the finance industry, Andrea has spent time on both the buy-side and the sell-side. Prior to her current role, she was a Director of Marketing and Investor Relations at LibreMaxCapital, an $8bn structured credit asset manager. From 2014 to 2018, Andrea was responsible for Investor Relations & Marketing at Jamison Capital Partners, a discretionary macro commodity hedge fund managing $2bn at its peak. From 2010 to 2014, she worked at Goldman Sachs as an Analyst on the commodity trading floor in Calgary and then as a Relationship Manager with the Institutional Client Group in New York. Andrea holds a BComm in Energy Management from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary.

Michael is the Chief Technology Officer with more than 15 years of architecting and developing highly scalable enterprise solutions across multiple business lines and technology systems. Most recently Michael was a Technical Architect at Penrod, a Salesforce Platinum implementation partner, where he routinely worked with his internal and external teams to solve complex business problems and mitigate technical risk, while building long term strategies for numerous healthcare companies. Prior to Salesforce consulting for the last 3+ years, Michael played a significant role at GeoBlue, a travel health insurance company, while acting as an Integration Architect, Solution Architect, Salesforce Developer and Senior Web Developer. Mr. Stone received a B.T. in Web Development and Management from Morrisville State College

Thomas brings a comprehensive financial, analytical, credit, and accounting background to IceCap Group. He holds a BSBA with a concentration in Accounting from Rider University and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Louisiana State University. Thomas graduated with the highest honors in both programs and is CPA certification eligible having passed all examinations. Prior to IceCap Group, Thomas was SVP of Business Purpose Lending at Logan Finance Corporation. He has held various roles within the alternative credit environment, principally related to credit analysis, operations, trading, and reporting at Amres Corporation, Benefit Street Partners, and State Street Corporation. At IceCap Group, Thomas manages the wholesale lending operation, BluFin Group, which specializes in brokered loan transactions across the business purpose loan product suite.

Mr. Harben brings a storied past and the legacy of industry leading production in every role that he has held. He has a 22-year pedigree in the mortgage industry from retail to wholesale encompassing Agency, Non-QM and Commercial Products. He holds a BSBA in Mathematical Economics from Hobart and William Smith Colleges with a minor in Asian Studies. Most recently, prior to Blufin, he held a critical role in the development and implementation of a large national wholesale and correspondent commercial debt aggregation platform forging investor take out relationships, aiding in credit policy development and leading the sales.

Chad began his career in insurance, specializing in residential investment properties and commercial real estate. After insurance, Chad joined Amres Corporation where he was integral to the development of the wholesale lending division Amres Wholesale and business purpose arm, Ambridge. Chad has managed a staff of more than a dozen underwriters. Following Amres, Chad was Director of Business Purpose Underwriting at Logan Finance Corporation. At Logan, he assisted in the development of a wholesale business purpose lending division. Chad oversaw the underwriting for the largest origination channel during his time at Logan. Chad holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a concentration in investment management from Virgina Tech. At IceCap Group, Chad manages the underwriting department for the BluFin Group, the dedicated wholesale division of IceCap.

Tie is the Deputy Chief Credit Officer with over 20 years of experience in real estate lending & investing, structured products, and derivatives trading. Tie was most recently the co-founder of Silvan Funding and Chief Investment Officer at Silvan Real Estate Income Fund, a boutique real estate private debt fund where he sourced, originated, structured, and underwrote bridge and new construction loans. Prior to Silvan, Tie was a co-founder of Metamorphic Capital where he acquired and rehabbed distressed properties and developed new properties from ground-up. Tie has held senior trading positions at leading global investment banks, including Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, and HSBC, focusing on structured products and derivatives. Tie graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Yale University and with a MBA degree from University of Chicago.

Joseph is the Head of Underwriting at IceCap Group. Having worked with the Oved Family for over 5 years, he has been an integral part of IceCap Group since its inception. His experience involves several property acquisitions as well as leasing and loan origination/underwriting for both the Oved Family and IceCap. Joseph’s intimate knowledge of the market allows him to secure profitable loans for the company, participating in over 900 loan originations totaling $500mm to date. Joseph is a graduate of Baruch College.

Pasi is the Compliance Officer with 35 years of experience in risk management. Most recently, he spent 12 years providing legal and business consulting work for leading law firms, financial institutions, and Deloitte. Prior to his time doing consulting work, he spent 12 years as the Associate Director of Collateral at WestLB bank. Pasi completed an ACAMS certification as an Anti-Money Laundering Specialist. Pasi received his MBA from the University of Vaasa in Finland and his J.D. from Rutgers Law School.
